Reappraisal is a periodic update required by Tennessee State Law where real property values are updated to reflect fair market value.

Reappraisal eliminates inequities that are created over time by changes in the real estate market ensuring fairness and equity for all property owners.

The Assessor Certifies 2010 values. 2010 appraisal and assessment information for real and personal property is now available online.

The Shelby County Board of Equalization will accept 2010 appeals from May 1 until the end of it’s regular session on June 30, 2010.
